The above can be achieved through the provision of micro -credits, micro -savings, micro -insurance and acquisition of basic skills with the potential to generate income , such as sewing and dress making, hair dressing, computer learning, bead making, shoe cobbling, cosmetic production, soap making etc.
4. The provision of basic and effective training in skills such as customer service & management, elementary fund management and accounting techniques, etc will enhance their capacity to manage, save and effectively channel the income they generate.
